Select from embedded or floating button

When you install Back In Stock, the first thing to confirm is if you would like embedded button for your product pages or floating button? After successful setting up one of these, you can opt for both as well. Our recommendation is to pick embedded button. Here's an illustration of what they look like:

Enable the app in your theme

You need to enable the app for your store. We will not put anything live without this step so that nothing unwanted & un-approved button is shown to your customer. You will only be doing this step once.

Here's a quick video:

Test how our button and notification will work for your store

During onboarding you can test how our buttons look like before you are actually live. We will copy your theme style and design and showcase our button on a sample out of stock product. If no product is out of stock, we will pick a random product for demo. Please note you can customize this button later here<add link>

You can also test a notification email by key-in an email ID where we will send this notification. We will pull in the default email address with Shopify at first. Again, you can always customize this email template later here <add link>

Customize buttons

Embedded button

This will be automatically aligned with your theme. However, if you need additional customization on top of the embedded buttons, you can drop us a note and we will help customize it for you.

Here's a detailed article on how to do it yourself: https://help.backinstock.org/article/70-using-a-custom-product-page-button

Floating button
