Back in Stock SPF Record
For better email deliverability we advise including our mail servers in your domain's SPF record. An SPF (Sender Policy Framework) record identifies which IP addresses are allowed to send email using your domain. Verifying its ownership allows Back in Stock to sign emails sent on your behalf.
The Back in Stock SPF mail server subdomain is:
spf.backinstock.org
How to add the SPF record to the DNS
Please contact your domain host or administrator for assistance setting up a SPF (TXT) record if you are not familiar with DNS records.
If you already have an existing SPF record, follow the instructions below to update an existing SPF record with multiple mail servers.
- In your existing SPF record, you will append include:spf.backinstock.org. For example, if your existing record looked like v=spf1; mx; ip4:1.2.3.4; you would add the above include as follows v=spf1; mx; ip4:1.2.3.4; include:spf.backinstock.org;
If you do not have an SPF record, create a new TXT record with the following values:
- In the Name/Host/Alias field, enter @ or leave blank (other DNS records might indicate which one you need)
- In the Time to Live (TTL) field, enter 3600 or leave the default
- In the Value/Answer/Destination field, enter: v=spf1 include:spf.backinstock.org ~all and Save the TXT record
