Adding a customer from the dashboard

Most of the time customers will sign up for Back in Stock notifications from you storefront. 

There are some occasions  when you wish to add a customer manually from your Back in Stock dashboard. For example, you may have a customer who has walked into your physical store and is enquiring about a sold out product. You can offer to notify them when the item is restocked online by creating a customer notification on their behalf.

To create a customer notification from your dashboard:

  1. Click the ‘Add’ button from top menu
  2. Enter the customer email address
  3. Start typing the SKU or name of the product variant the customer is interested in. Choose the correct item from the list of results.
  4. Click Add

Adding customer notifications for products not published to the online storefront

You can add a customer notification for a product that is not yet published to the online store. For example, a product that is only published to the Point of Sale channel can be added. Notifications for this product won't be sent until it is published to the online store.
